Overview

DTC and wholesale brands use Ryder E-commerce for nationwide fulfillment backed by a large logistics network. Fulfil's native Ryder integration routes customer shipments, supplier receipts, and returns to Ryder while keeping on-hand inventory in sync, so orders from Shopify, Amazon, and other channels flow to Ryder automatically and tracking flows back.

Important Notes

  • Products are matched by SKU. Sync products to Ryder before sending shipments with new SKUs.
  • Order cancellation is not supported through the integration. Contact Ryder to cancel an order already sent, or place the shipment on hold in Fulfil before the scheduler runs.
  • Bundle products are not supported. Expand bundles into component SKUs before sending shipments.
  • Inventory is imported as a full snapshot on the schedule you configure.
Setup Instructions

Step 1: Get Your Ryder Credentials

Contact Ryder to obtain your OAuth Client ID, Client Secret, and integer Customer ID.

Step 2: Connect the Integration in Fulfil

The Ryder integration appears as RyderShip in Fulfil.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Setup New Integration and select RyderShip
  3. Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, and Customer ID
  4. Check Test integration? if you are connecting to the sandbox environment
  5. Click Connect and authorize access. Fulfil saves the OAuth tokens automatically.

Step 3: Configure the Warehouse

  1. Create or open a Fulfil warehouse with Type set to 3PL and its 3PL set to RyderShip
  2. Select the RyderShip warehouse from the list. Fulfil fetches your available warehouses automatically.
  3. Click Save

Step 4: Enable Schedulers

On the warehouse location page, add schedules for the actions you want to run and set an interval for each:

  • Send products
  • Send customer shipments
  • Get customer shipment advices (tracking)
  • Send supplier shipments (ASNs)
  • Get inventory receipts
  • Send customer returns
  • Get return advices
  • Get cycle counts (inventory snapshot)

How do I set up Ryder fulfillment in Fulfil?
To set up Ryder in Fulfil, navigate to Inventory & Stock → Locations, create a new warehouse with Type set to 3PL, and configure your Ryder credentials. The setup typically takes 1-2 hours.
Can I use Ryder for both Shopify and Amazon orders?
Yes, Fulfil's ERP automatically imports orders from Shopify, Amazon, and other channels. You can route all these orders to Ryder for fulfillment, and tracking information syncs back to each sales channel automatically.
How does inventory sync work with Ryder?
Inventory levels automatically sync between Ryder and Fulfil. When products are received at Ryder, stock levels update in Fulfil. When orders are fulfilled, inventory decreases automatically. This ensures accurate stock counts across all your sales channels.
Can I send supplier shipments to Ryder for receiving?
Yes, you can send purchase orders and supplier shipments directly to Ryder for receiving. Fulfil exports the shipment details to Ryder, and once they receive and inspect the products, the shipment is automatically marked as received in Fulfil with updated inventory levels.
Does tracking information sync automatically?
Yes, when Ryder fulfills an order, tracking numbers automatically sync to Fulfil and push back to Shopify, Amazon, and other connected sales channels, triggering automated customer notification emails.
Can I route orders automatically to Ryder?
Yes, Fulfil's automation rules allow you to automatically route specific orders to Ryder based on product type, destination, inventory availability, or custom criteria. This eliminates manual warehouse assignment and ensures orders flow to the right fulfillment center automatically.
How are returns handled with Ryder?
Returns can be sent directly to Ryder for inspection and restocking. Once Ryder receives and inspects returned products, inventory automatically updates in Fulfil and syncs back to your sales channels, making products available for sale again.
Can I manage multiple Ryder warehouse locations?
Yes, Fulfil supports multiple Ryder warehouse locations with unified visibility. You can view inventory across all Ryder facilities, route orders to the optimal location based on proximity or stock availability, and track fulfillment status across all locations from a single dashboard.
How does order batching work with Ryder?
Fulfil can batch multiple orders together before sending them to Ryder based on your configured sync schedule. This reduces API calls and streamlines fulfillment operations. You can adjust the batch frequency to match your fulfillment volume, from every 5 minutes for high-volume operations to hourly for lower volumes.
Can I split orders between my own warehouse and Ryder?
Yes, Fulfil intelligently splits orders when inventory is distributed across multiple warehouses. If some items are at Ryder and others in your own warehouse, Fulfil creates separate shipments for each location, ensuring customers receive all their items while optimizing fulfillment from the most appropriate facility.
