With Managed Markets, Global-e manages the complexities of selling to other countries or regions on your behalf, including remitting tax to local authorities, accepting local methods of payment, and managing duties and import tax, allowing you to start selling to new international markets quickly.

Get started with Managed Markets and Fulfil

Follow these steps to activate the Managed Markets integration in Fulfil. 

Connection requirements

  1. You have been approved for Managed Markets. Click here to start an application.
  2. An active Shopify integration in Fulfil. 
  3. Your globally unique identifier (GUID) for Managed Markets.

Setup instructions

Carrier

  1. Create a new carrier of type "Global-e (Shopify Managed Markets)".
  2. Select your Carrier Service Product which will be used to map the shipping product on orders.
  3. Add box types that will be used for packing.
  4. Click on Discover services which will import and activate a Global-e service.

Integration

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Create a new integration, of type "Global-e (Shopify Managed Markets)" and a name of your choice.
  3. Enter your Shopify GUID and Save.
  4. Click on the Configure button, which will then allow you to map your Managed Markets carrier from the previous step and Save.

You should be all set to test your first Managed Markets order on Fulfil.

Additional information

Merged orders

The shipment in Fulfil must be associated with a single Shopify order. Global-e is not able to return labels for merged shipments.

The products in the Fulfil shipment along with the order reference on the associated order, must match the Shopify items and order number respectively.

Supported add-ons

Global-e Shopify Managed Markets does not support any additional add-ons such as signature required, insurance or third-party billing from Fulfil.
