FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Which direction does data flow between Wise and Fulfil?
This is a read-only integration that imports your Wise transactions into Fulfil automatically. You skip the manual CSV imports and keep your general ledger current. To send payments or transfers, use your Wise account directly; the integration does not initiate outbound payments.
Does Fulfil capture Wise fees?
Yes. Transaction fees are imported separately with each transaction. Set a Fees Account on your Wise bank account in Fulfil, and fees post to that expense account automatically. Without a Fees Account configured, you would have to record each fee by hand.
How does Fulfil handle multiple Wise currencies?
Wise creates a separate bank account in Fulfil for each currency balance you hold, such as Wise - USD, Wise - GBP, and Wise - EUR. Each one maps to its own cash GL account, so every currency reconciles on its own books.
What exchange rate is used for foreign-currency transactions?
Transactions are imported in the bank account's own currency. When Fulfil converts to your company's operating currency, it uses its own exchange rates rather than Wise's, and it records the original pre-conversion amount for reference.
How do Wise transactions get reconciled?
You can set up bank rules that automatically match and categorize transactions by vendor name, keyword, or recurring reference, directing each to the right expense account. Anything a rule does not cover, you can match manually.
Are Wise card transactions supported?
Not yet. The integration currently imports balance transactions only, meaning deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Wise card transactions are not imported.
