Fulfil connects to PayPal's API and imports every balance-affecting transaction automatically, so you can reconcile Shopify charges, refunds, fees, and adjustments along with any business expenses paid through PayPal. You track PayPal as both a payment processor for revenue and an account for expenses in a single integration.

Fulfil matches each transaction by PayPal transaction ID, amount, and GL account. Payments, refunds, and currency conversions reconcile automatically, while types like chargebacks, dispute fees, and user-initiated withdrawals are handled with bank rules or manual reconciliation.

PayPal creates a separate bank account in Fulfil for each currency balance, and each maps to its own GL account. When a customer pays in another currency, PayPal's conversion produces a paired withdrawal and deposit that Fulfil reconciles automatically and books any forex gain or loss. This requires activating each secondary currency and configuring a forex gain/loss account.
