UniUni Carrier Integration

US and Canada last-mile carrier with rate shopping, domestic label generation, automatic tracking, and label voiding.

Overview

UniUni is a last-mile parcel carrier serving the United States and Canada. Fulfil integrates directly with UniUni to rate shop across UniUni's service types, create and purchase shipping labels, track deliveries automatically, and void shipments that have already been purchased. Connecting takes a single API token from your UniUni account.

Capabilities

  • Domestic shipping across the United States and Canada, at your negotiated UniUni account rates
  • Rate shopping across UniUni's service types before you create a label
  • Label generation: UniUni returns a PDF, which Fulfil converts to an image
  • Tracking number and UniUni order reference captured when the label is created
  • Automatic tracking: UniUni scan events are imported and mapped to Fulfil's tracking statuses
  • Label voiding, which refunds the shipping cost to your UniUni account balance
  • Multiple UniUni accounts via separate integrations

What UniUni Doesn't Support

  • International shipments: shipment creation is limited to domestic routes where origin and destination are in the same country. UniUni can quote a Canada-to-US rate, but Fulfil can't book a label for it because UniUni requires per-item manufacturer details Fulfil doesn't capture, so use a different carrier for cross-border.
  • Multi-package shipments: UniUni supports a single package per shipment; create a separate shipment for each package.
  • Return labels, carrier insurance, signature confirmation, and Saturday delivery.
Setup Instructions

Step 1: Obtain Your UniUni API Token

Generate your API token from the UniUni Platform dashboard, or contact UniUni support if you need dashboard access. You'll also need Designated Contact user permissions in Fulfil.

Step 2: Connect UniUni in Fulfil

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations and click Setup New Integration
  2. Select UniUni as the Type
  3. Enter your API Token
  4. If you're testing against UniUni's sandbox, check Is this a test integration?
  5. Click Connect

Fulfil validates the API token with UniUni and activates the integration. A UniUni carrier record is created automatically.

Step 3: Enable UniUni

Enable UniUni on the warehouses and channels where you want it available for rate shopping.

If your API token is rejected during setup, confirm it was copied in full with no extra spaces, that it's active on your UniUni account, and that the Is this a test integration? checkbox matches the environment the token was generated for.

How It Works

Rate Shopping

When you rate shop a shipment that includes UniUni, Fulfil sends the destination address and the package's weight and dimensions to UniUni, and lists a rate for the matched service alongside your other carriers' rates. UniUni prices a single package per request, so a shipment with more than one package won't return a UniUni rate. Rates reflect your UniUni account pricing.

Label Creation

Select a UniUni service and create the label. Fulfil creates the shipment with UniUni, purchases it, and retrieves the label as a PDF, which it converts to an image. Fulfil records the tracking number and UniUni's order reference on the shipment. Shipment creation requires origin and destination in the same country; cross-border routes are not supported even when a rate is quoted.

Tracking

Fulfil imports UniUni tracking updates automatically and maps UniUni's scan events to Fulfil's tracking statuses: waiting, in transit, out for delivery, delivered, exception, delivery failure, returned, and cancelled. When a scan event marks the shipment delivered, Fulfil records the delivery date.

Voiding a Shipment

Voiding a UniUni shipment cancels a purchased label and refunds the shipping cost to your UniUni account balance. You can only void a shipment that has already been purchased through the integration.
