Overview
ShipSavvy is a multi-carrier shipping platform that partners with carriers like Purolator, UPS, Canada Post, DHL, and USPS to ship domestically within the US and Canada, with no carrier contracts required. ShipSavvy connects to Fulfil as an external carrier, using an integration ShipSavvy built with Fulfil's Carrier API. Contact ShipSavvy for questions about your account, rates, and services.

Supported Features
- Service discovery: Services are imported with Discover Carrier Services.
- Domestic shipping: US and Canada domestic shipments.
- Estimated rates: Rates reflect your negotiated ShipSavvy rates, including in WMS rate shopping.
- Shipping labels: Domestic PNG labels.
- Return labels: Domestic PNG return labels.
- Tracking URL: ShipSavvy returns a tracking URL, so Fulfil links to the ShipSavvy tracking page.
Limitations
The following are limits of ShipSavvy's integration, not of Fulfil.
- International: ShipSavvy does not support international shipping or international labels through this integration. Only domestic shipments are supported.
- Labels: ShipSavvy does not support ZPL labels. It only returns PNG labels, so a ZPL thermal printer workflow is not available.
Setting Up ShipSavvy
Prerequisites
- ShipSavvy API credentials
- Designated Contact user permissions in Fulfil
Create the carrier
- Navigate to Settings > Shipping > Carriers.
- Click Setup New Shipping Carrier.
- Name the carrier (e.g., "ShipSavvy") and select External (API) as the type.
- Click Change credentials and enter the ShipSavvy credentials provided by your ShipSavvy representative.
- Click Discover Carrier Services to import available services.
- Add the services and box types you want to use, then click Save.
Test and activate
- Create a test sales order and confirm rates return, a PNG label generates with the correct address and weight, and the tracking URL resolves to the ShipSavvy tracking page.
- Update your channel carrier mappings to connect ShipSavvy to your sales channels.
- Set up automation rules that select ShipSavvy services for rate shopping.

Which carriers does ShipSavvy cover?
ShipSavvy aggregates major carriers including Purolator, UPS, Canada Post, DHL, and USPS. The services available in Fulfil depend on your ShipSavvy account. Use Discover Carrier Services to import the services enabled for you.
Can I print ZPL labels?
No. ShipSavvy returns PNG labels only. If you need thermal ZPL labels, print the PNG to a standard label printer.
