Supported Features
- Service discovery: Services are imported with Discover Carrier Services.
- Domestic shipping: Canada.
- Estimated rates: Rates reflect your negotiated GoBolt rates, including in WMS rate shopping.
- Shipping labels: Domestic ZPL labels.
- Return labels: Domestic ZPL return labels.
- Voiding labels: Void a GoBolt label after it's created.
- Tracking number: The tracking number on the label matches Fulfil.
- Automatic tracking: Status updates to in-transit and delivered.
Limitations
The following are limits of GoBolt's integration, not of Fulfil.
- Rate shopping by transit days: GoBolt does not return delivery windows. If an automation rule picks the cheapest service within a number of transit days, GoBolt is skipped. Select the GoBolt service directly in the rule instead.
- Insurance: GoBolt does not include insurance in its rates.
- International: GoBolt does not support international shipping or international labels. Only domestic shipments are supported.
- Labels: GoBolt does not support PNG labels. It only returns ZPL labels, so use a ZPL printer.
- Tracking links: GoBolt does not provide a tracking URL, so Fulfil cannot link to the GoBolt tracking page. The tracking number and status are still available.
Setting Up GoBolt
Prerequisites
- GoBolt API credentials (callback URL, username, password, account ID)
- Designated Contact user permissions in Fulfil
Create the carrier
- Navigate to Settings > Shipping > Carriers.
- Click Setup New Shipping Carrier.
- Name the carrier (e.g., "GoBolt") and select External (API) as the type.
- Click Change credentials and enter the Callback URL, Username, Password, and Account ID.
- Click Discover Carrier Services to import available services.
- Add the services and box types you want to use, then click Save.
Test and activate
- Create a test sales order and confirm rates return, a ZPL label generates with the correct address and weight, and the tracking number matches Fulfil.
- Update your channel carrier mappings to connect GoBolt to your sales channels.
- Set up automation rules that select GoBolt services directly.
