FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Which direction does data flow between Ramp and Fulfil?
Settled Ramp corporate card transactions import into Fulfil as they settle. The merchant name comes across with the category in parentheses when available, along with the memo, amount, and currency, so you have the context to review spend once it is in Fulfil.
How does auto-reconciliation work?
When a transaction is coded in Ramp with a GL account and marked Ready to Sync, Fulfil posts the journal entry and reconciles it automatically, as long as that Ramp GL account is mapped to a Fulfil account. Transactions that are not coded in Ramp import as pending, and you can clear them with bank rules or by coding them in Ramp afterward.
Can I allocate card spend to classes and departments?
Yes. Both the Class and Department fields sync from Ramp on Ready to Sync transactions and match to your Fulfil account classes by code first, then by name. The GL account has to allow class allocation for the class to land on the journal entry line.
Does Fulfil support Ramp Bill Pay as well as corporate cards?
Yes. The Ramp integration covers both products on one connection. Bill Pay is a two-way sync: posted supplier invoices export from Fulfil to Ramp as bills, bills approved directly in Ramp import into Fulfil as posted supplier invoices, and payments made in Ramp sync back and reconcile against the original invoice.
Do bills exported to Ramp go through Ramp approval?
No. Bills exported from Fulfil are auto-approved in Ramp and are ready for payment as soon as they arrive. Any approval process needs to happen in Fulfil before you post the invoice, using automation rules or user permissions to control who can post.
How do Ramp bill payments reconcile back to Fulfil?
When a bill is paid in Ramp, Fulfil creates a supplier payment record and reconciles it against the original invoice. When Ramp settles several bills in one ACH run, Fulfil consolidates them into a single payment record that matches your bank statement. Ramp bills are either unpaid or fully paid, so partial payments are not supported.
What Ramp data is not imported?
Employee expense reimbursements and Ramp Treasury account balances are not imported. Receipt images do not transfer from Ramp to Fulfil either.
